SV Advanced Computing engages on a corp-to-corp (C2C) basis through our Colorado LLC. We are structured for flexibility — from focused one-week performance audits to ongoing retainer relationships.

Engagement Types

Performance Audit — A fixed-scope engagement targeting a specific application, pipeline, or system. Typically 1–4 weeks. Deliverables include a detailed performance report with profiling data, identified bottlenecks, and prioritized optimization recommendations.

Project-Based — Defined scope of work with milestones. Suitable for optimization implementations, benchmark development, or architecture evaluation projects. Duration and pricing scoped per project.

Retainer — Ongoing advisory and performance engineering support. Monthly allocation of hours for profiling, optimization, code review, and architecture guidance. Suitable for teams that need continuous performance engineering capacity without a full-time hire.

Pricing

Pricing is scoped to each engagement and provided as a written quote after an initial, no-charge scoping call — there is no one-size rate sheet, because the right structure for a focused kernel audit differs from a multi-month optimization project or an ongoing retainer.

Rates reflect senior specialist expertise — a Ph.D. and 15+ years across national laboratories, semiconductor vendors, and enterprise HPC. Engagements are available as:

  • Fixed-scope, fixed-price audits — you know the cost before work begins.
  • Project-based work — milestone-based pricing against a defined scope.
  • Hourly, weekly-intensive, or monthly-retainer arrangements for ongoing performance engineering capacity.

Corp-to-Corp (C2C) Terms

SV Advanced Computing, LLC operates exclusively on a C2C / 1099 contractor basis. Standard engagement terms:

  • Entity: SV Advanced Computing, LLC (Colorado)
  • Payment: Net-30 invoicing, wire transfer or ACH
  • Insurance: General liability and professional liability (E&O) coverage maintained
  • IP: Work product ownership negotiated per engagement; default is client ownership of deliverables with SVAC retaining rights to general methodologies and tools
  • NDA: We execute mutual NDAs as standard practice prior to any engagement involving proprietary systems or data
  • Travel: Remote-first; on-site work available with travel expenses billed at cost
